It is a privilege to be able to offer Forest School sessions within our Westcliff and Thorpe-Bay sites run by a dedicated Forest School Practitioner.
From our youngest Pre-Prep classes through to our Year 6 children, the ability to explore our natural surroundings in an age-appropriate way is a wonderful experience.
Our 15 acre Thorpe-Bay site is home to our very own Tulgy Wood. A variety of flora and fauna, insects and other wildlife thrive in our woodland and pond area. Within our Forest School sessions, children are able to choose activities to complete from craft through to practical skills, all utilising the tangible environment around them. From an early age, children are taught the importance of the natural environment and of reusing and recycling to help protect the environment for future generations.
Our location near to the Thames Estuary also provides an extension of our Forest School with Coastal School sessions also taking place throughout the Summer Term.
