Welcome to the Alleyn Court Nursery, a place where our youngest learners feel happy, secure, and excited to explore the world around them. Our purpose-built Nursery provides a warm and nurturing environment where learning is a joyful adventure, and your child's natural curiosity is celebrated every day. We are the first step in the Alleyn Court journey, laying the foundations for a smooth and confident transition into Reception and beyond.
Our Two Nursery Groups
Our Nursery is divided into two age-specific groups, each with a carefully tailored curriculum to meet the developmental needs of every child.
Ducklings (Age 2-3)
In our Ducklings group, we focus on play-based learning that encourages social interaction, develops early language skills, and fosters a sense of independence. This is a crucial time for building confidence and making new friends.
Bumblebees (Age 3-4)
Our Bumblebees are busy with a more structured approach to learning through play. We introduce early literacy and numeracy concepts, preparing them for the transition to Reception while ensuring they retain their innate curiosity and love for discovery.
A Day in the Life
Every day in our Nursery is a fun and stimulating journey. While our routine provides a comforting structure, we allow for flexibility to follow the children's interests and spontaneous learning moments.
Morning Welcome
The day begins with a warm welcome and gentle settling-in activities.
Play & Exploration
We provide a wide variety of activities, from water and sand play to creative arts and construction.
Outdoor Adventure
As an accredited Forest School, our nursery pupils spend dedicated time outdoors, exploring nature in all weathers.
Snack & Story Time
A healthy snack and a captivating story bring the children together.
Learning Through Play
Children engage in planned activities that introduce colours, numbers, and sounds, all through play.

Wraparound Care
Our flexible wraparound care is available from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, providing a secure and familiar environment for your child before and after school.

Seamless Transition
As part of Alleyn Court Prep School, our nursery ensures a smooth and confident transition into Reception, with familiar faces and surroundings.
