Enrichment
Education Beyond the Classroom
At Alleyn Court, learning doesn't end when the bell rings. Our wide-ranging co-curricular and enrichment programme is where children discover new passions, build confidence, and become well-rounded individuals.
Our Approach: Empowering Curious Minds
We believe that a truly exceptional education should ignite a sense of wonder and adventure. Our co-curricular activities are designed to complement the academic curriculum, empowering every child to explore their interests, take creative risks, and find their unique talents. These opportunities are central to our ethos of nurturing children who are Curious, Courageous, and Compassionate.

A World of Opportunities

Sporting Excellence
Alleyn Court has an excellent reputation for sport and has been awarded the Platinum School Games Mark for the seventh consecutive year. We offer a wide variety of sports, with over 15 different options throughout the year, both within the curriculum and in extracurricular clubs. Competitive teams are formed for major sports from Year 3, and the school has a history of national success in football. As our Director of Sport, Mr. N. Smith, puts it, our pupils "love to challenge and push themselves and are not afraid to be out of their comfort zones to achieve success".

Creative and Performing Arts
The school has an excellent reputation for creative and performing arts. Art, drama, and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. We are proud to have an Artist in Residence who runs after-school art clubs and arranges trips to art galleries. All pupils learn a musical instrument in class, and about a third of pupils take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. The school has three choirs, an orchestra, and various instrument ensembles, providing a wealth of opportunities for musical expression.

Enrichment & Trips
Our enrichment programme is designed to extend learning far beyond the classroom walls. Pupils can participate in over 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs. We also offer regular educational trips for all year groups, with residential visits beginning in Year 3. Visiting speakers are also brought in to provide new perspectives and inspire children.
A First-Hand Experience
The best way to appreciate the energy and passion of our co-curricular programme is to see it in person. We invite you to visit our campus and witness how our students embrace every opportunity with curiosity and courage.
