Scholarships & Bursaries

A Commitment to Excellence & Access

At Alleyn Court, we believe a diverse and talented pupil body is at the heart of our vibrant community. Our commitment is to provide an outstanding education to pupils who will thrive in our nurturing and academic environment.

We understand that an independent school education is a significant financial commitment. To ensure Alleyn Court remains accessible to the brightest and most promising pupils, we offer both a range of scholarships that recognise excellence and bursaries that provide means-tested financial support.

Scholarships: Recognising Excellence

Scholarships are merit-based awards given to pupils who demonstrate exceptional talent or potential in a specific area. These awards celebrate a child's hard work, dedication, and outstanding ability, and can be applied for at our main entry points. They often come with leadership opportunities and specialised support.

Academic Scholarships

Awarded to pupils who show outstanding academic ability and a genuine passion for learning. Candidates are assessed through an examination and interview process.

Music Scholarships

For talented musicians who demonstrate excellent performance skills and a love for the subject.

Sport Scholarships

Offered to pupils who show exceptional sporting promise and a commitment to personal fitness and teamwork.

Creative Art Scholarships

For pupils with a flair for the creative arts, demonstrated through a portfolio and practical assessment.

Bursaries: Widening Access

Bursaries are means-tested awards that provide confidential financial assistance to families who would otherwise be unable to afford the school fees. Our Bursary Fund is designed to make an Alleyn Court education a reality for children who have the character, values and potential to flourish here. The number and value of bursaries vary each year, and they can cover a proportion of the school fees.

Confidentiality

All bursary applications are handled with the utmost discretion and are completely confidential.

Means-Tested

Eligibility is based on a detailed assessment of a family's financial circumstances, including income, assets, and expenditure.

How to Apply for a Bursary

The first step is to register your child with the school. We will then provide you with a confidential bursary application form and guide you through the process. We encourage you to contact us as early as possible to discuss your situation.
