Award-Winning Sport programme

At Alleyn Court, we believe that sport is more than just a game; it is a fundamental part of a child's development. Our comprehensive sports program is designed to foster confidence, teamwork, and resilience in every pupil, regardless of their ability. We promote a culture of mass participation, ensuring every child finds a sport they love, while also providing elite opportunities for those who wish to compete at the highest level.
This powerful combination of inclusivity and excellence is what sets our sporting provision apart.

Our reputation for sporting excellence is a source of immense pride and has been recognised at a national level.

Borough Champions

Our talented teams consistently achieve great success in local competitions, including being crowned Southend Borough Archery Champions and winning multiple medals in Borough Athletics.

Our Sports Curriculum & Fixtures

We offer a broad and exciting curriculum designed to develop a wide range of physical skills and a lifelong love of sport. Our pupils receive at least 3.5 hours of dedicated PE and Games lessons each week, with many more opportunities available through our extensive extra-curricular clubs.

Our extensive fixtures programme offers every pupil the opportunity to represent the school in competitive sport. We regularly field multiple teams, ensuring that every child gets a chance to play in fixtures against other local and independent schools.

“The sports provision at Alleyn Court is phenomenal. What we love most is that every single child gets to represent the school. Our daughter is so much more confident because she’s been able to play on a team and feel part of something, and she’s just so happy.”
Mrs. Green, Year 5 Parent
