Pastoral care at Alleyn Court Preparatory School is central to and supports our core purpose which is to educate the children in our care to be respectful, responsible, resilient, resourceful and reflective individuals. The personal, social and academic needs of our pupils are all linked and of equal importance helping the pupils to thrive.
We are a friendly school with a sense of family which is apparent in the interactions between all members of the school community: pupils, staff, parents and visitors. The strength of our pastoral care was recognised by the Independent Schools Inspectorate when they stated:
Throughout the school, pastoral care is excellent, founded on excellent relationships and a family atmosphere which prevails on both sites. Systems for monitoring the well-being of pupils of all ages are highly effective.
