Pastoral Care at Alleyn Court

At Alleyn Court the wellbeing, happiness and safety of each child is at the centre of all we do. 

Our core purpose is to educate the children in our care to be curious, courageous and compassionate in their learning and relationships, now and in the future.

Strong and respectful relationships between staff, pupils and their families are central to the family feel of the school.  These relationships, along with our small classes, allow Form Teachers to know the children in their care as unique individuals, combining both pastoral care with academic monitoring.  Our holistic approach allows all children to become confident, self-aware, independent learners in the diverse range of subjects and activities available to them at Alleyn Court.  Being supported in taking responsibility for their learning, helps the children know when and how to ask for help both academically and emotionally.

When children leave Alleyn Court they are able to flourish and are ready for the next steps in their learning journeys.  They have the confidence to pursue and discover their passions and have strategies to overcome difficulties and disappointments they will inevitably encounter.
