A Message from
our Head Teacher
I am proud to be Head
Teacher of Alleyn Court School, with its 100 year tradition of excellence in
academics, sport and cultural activities. Our aims are to enable our pupils to:
-
develop
lively and enquiring minds together with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and
values which will enable them to play a full part as members of the community;
-
promote
their mental, spiritual, physical, social and emotional well-being and develop
to the full individual aptitudes and talents
-
become caring and
tolerant members of society, able to appreciate and contribute to human
aspiration and achievement
We aim to deliver a broad education in a caring, happy and purposeful
environment built upon mutual respect and positive relationships, which
creates opportunities, and encourages endeavour and the pursuit of personal
achievement in all aspects of life.
In order to provide a first class education for all our children and to
enable them to achieve their very best we at Alleyn Court are ever mindful of
the motto of the founder, Theodore Wilcox:
Non progredi est
regredi – Not to go forwards is to go backwards
Why not come and visit
Alleyn Court? We look forward to meeting you and showing you all that we do.

Richard Chandler
