Introduction

In Junior School (Year 1-Year 3, ages 5-8) children build upon their learning and experiences from the Pre-Prep. Teaching is class-based, becoming more formalised and teacher led, with each class being cared for and nurtured by a class teacher. From Year 1, children receive specialist teaching in Art, French, Music and PE, ensuring great breadth and a more rounded learning experience from a very young age. They also receive a very good grounding in the key skills of literacy and numeracy.
