Year One
The children in Year One are the youngest in the Junior
School and follow a slightly different daily
routine to the other children in the school. For Year One the
school day begins at 8:35a.m. They will then have registration and
then either go to assembly, or have PHSE time until 9:00 a.m. which is
when lessons begin. They have a 30 minute mid morning break at the
same time as the other children at 10:45 a.m. The children eat lunch at around 12:15 p.m. and
then have one further lesson from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. before they
have their midday playtime. The school day finishes at 3:15 p.m. at
which time the children have the option of being collected, or attending
one of our numerous after-school clubs. The
children are looked after by their teachers until the after-school clubs
begin. |
