The annual Oliver Norman and Claire Alexander Scholarship was originally set up to enable talented pupils, whose parents might otherwise be unable to afford the fees, to attend Alleyn Court. While the Scholarship is now open to any pupil, the school remains keen to widen access. Parents of pupils who are academically able or who show particular talent in the fields of music, drama, art or sport are encouraged to apply. This year the school would particularly welcome applications from pupils who are currently in Year 3 as this is one of the few year groups where the school is not oversubscribed.
Alleyn Court has a proud tradition of academic excellence but believes in a rounded education where participation and excellence in music, art, drama and sport are encouraged. The school benefits from having a number of subject specialist teachers which enables the pupils to benefit from their knowledge and enthusiasm.
Past scholarship winners have gone on to local selective grammar schools or won further large scholarships to prominent public schools such as Tonbridge, Winchester and Millfield.
