This website will give you a brief flavour of the school and a strong sense of the friendly, family community that we are. I believe it reflects the energy, joy and sense of purpose that characterises Alleyn Court.
The school’s motto – ‘non progredi est regredi’ – not to move forwards is to move backwards, demonstrates that the school places great emphasis on progress, which is exactly what we strive for and achieve with each of our individual pupils.
Alleyn Court equips children with the skills and confidence to succeed. A broad, balanced curriculum delivers academic enrichment and develops a whole range of skills, knowledge and understanding to promote and instil confidence that lasts long after children have left Alleyn Court. The wide range of opportunities offered to our pupils encourages them to contribute and participate in all aspects of school life. Celebration and praise of their efforts and achievements are features of the positive motivation we aim to foster in all our pupils.
Whilst moving forward, we still cherish the traditional values and courtesies that parents would expect and these are widely promoted. The mutual respect shared between children and teachers is notable and enhances the warm and friendly atmosphere that exists. Children learn best when they are happy and this feature of Alleyn Court is noticed by all who visit us.
